Description

As a Sr Trade Compliance Analyst here at Honeywell you will have a significant impact on the companys global operations and success. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with international trade regulations which is crucial for the smooth flow of cross-border transactions. By developing and implementing trade compliance policies and procedures you will contribute to minimizing risks and avoiding penalties related to import and export violations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to import and export regulations
  • Manage and oversee import and export documentation including classification licensing and customs documentation
  • Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on trade compliance matters including training and awareness programs
  • Stay updated with changes in trade regulations and communicate the impact to the organization ensuring compliance with new requirements
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve trade compliance issues and mitigate risks


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5 years of experience in trade compliance preferably in a multinational company
  • Strong knowledge of import and export regulations including customs laws export controls and sanctions
  • Experience in managing trade compliance programs including classification licensing and compliance audits
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical solutions
