Are you looking for a dynamic role in an international fast-growing organization As a Financial Accountant at Basic-Fit you will play a crucial role in our Finance department which is undergoing exciting projects and transformations from process improvements to integrating our latest acquisition.Youllbe at the heart of it all!
This Is What Your Role Looks Like
Youllbe part of our Financial Control team (18 FTE) a group of quick-thinking financial professionals who produce high-quality reports while closely collaborating with the business. Together with the Financial Controller youllensureaccuratefinancial reporting and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Following our acquisition of Clever Fit and our growing activities across Germany and Austriayoullcontribute to the financial processing of these entities.Youllbe based at our HQ in Hoofddorp.
Your Responsibilities
Financial accuracy:Maintain process andreportgeneral ledger transactions across multiple international entities with a focus on DACH.
Month-end & statutory reporting: Prepare journal entries accruals deferrals reconciliations and lead schedules fortimelyandaccuratereporting.
Audit & compliance: Support external audit requirements and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Process improvements: Develop and implement efficiencies in financial processes documenting desktopproceduresand workflows.
Collaboration: Work closely with Reporting & Tax Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Business Control and other departments.
Special projects: Assist management with ad-hoc reporting analysis and strategic initiatives including Clever Fit integration work.
Who Are You
You are a detail-oriented and proactive financial professional with a strong analytical mindset. You enjoy solving complex financial puzzles and thrive in a dynamic international environment.
Additionallywerelooking for someone who is:
Experienced in financial accounting with 12 years in a similar role
Skilled in MS Excel (advanced level)
Knowledgeable in IFRS and SAP S4/HANA (preferred)
Fluent in German (required); English isa must Dutch or French is a plus
A strong communicator and team player with excellent time management skills
