About the role
The Executive Manager Advocacy will support VACCHOs Executive to lead VACCHOs policy development advocacy and campaigning which includes supporting VACCHO to maintain relationships with Ministers Parliamentarians senior civil servants and sector stakeholders. The Executive Manager Advocacy will contribute to VACCHO being a strong voice for Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and driving advocacy to change policy across the range of health and wellbeing issue areas.
The Executive Manager Advocacy role will be expected to lead specific projects contribute to the strategy of the organisation work closely with the Executive Manager Policy and policy team while leading and developing the Advocacy team members. The Executive Manager will work closely with Executive Directors and staff in their business units to guide their advocacy positions.
