Job Summary
Position SummaryTo provide academic instruction to high school Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop syllabus for class with course objectives and grading system and implement policy procedures for each class addressing attendance homework missed work pre and post-tests in subject evaluations of student written assessments for each student relating to abilities class work motivation and commitment to the program critique. Keep director informed regarding any problems and/ or concerns regarding the Skills Abilities & Other AttributesAdvanced degree or certification in core subject areas preferred (English Math or Science).Experience working with high school students and disadvantaged populations communication Working ConditionsSix-week summer program operating from the end of June through the first week in will work either two or three days a week (pending subject).Attendance is required at parent/teacher conference two staff meetings and the end-of-the-year banquet.
