Job Description:
BrightStar Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a weekend night shift assignment at a facility in Hilton. This role is ideal for a dependable nurse who is comfortable working overnight and committed to providing high-quality patient care in a facility setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in accordance with care plans and physician orders
Monitor and document patient conditions vital signs and changes in status
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Perform wound care as needed including dressing changes and monitoring healing progress
Assist with or manage tube feeding (enteral feeding) and related care when required
Communicate effectively with facility staff patients and families
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure patient safety and follow all facility and BrightStar Care protocols
Requirements:
Active LPN or RN license in good standing
Experience with wound care and/or tube feeding preferred
Previous nursing experience in a facility or similar healthcare setting is a plus
Strong clinical and patient assessment skills
Ability to reliably work 12-hour overnight shifts (7P7A) on weekends
