We have an opportunity for highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapists to join our medical & surgical services based at Middlemore Hospital. One role will be working in our acute medical wards and the other role on general surgical wards assisting across medical as part of the wider cardiorespiratory inpatient team.
Medical Our services span across various medical wards encompassing both general medical wards and several subspecialty wards. Currently we have approximately 10 Physiotherapists including advanced senior and core clinicians dedicated to working across these services.
Surgical - Our services span across our 4 general surgical wards encompassing general surgical vascular and trauma patients. Currently we have a team of approximately 4 Physiotherapists including advanced senior and core clinicians dedicated to working within these services.
You will be working as part of the ward multi-disciplinary team to provide excellent delivery of care to our clinically and culturally diverse population within the inpatient setting. Due to the acute fast-paced nature of our wards youll be expected to have excellent clinical reasoning skills plus the ability to make prompt and effective decisions/plans for your patients.
