Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Campus Rounds in Philadelphia PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading education location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce incidents. You will respond to situations with strong communication and customer service document observations and support staff students and visitors with professionalism. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at an education campus location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings common areas and perimeter routes; document notable conditions and report concerns per post orders.
- Respond to incidents alarms and calls for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner; help coordinate notifications to appropriate campus departments and/or public responders as directed.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials monitoring visitor activity and helping direct students staff and guests to appropriate locations.
- Complete timely security-related reports maintain activity logs and communicate observations during shift turnovers; use site systems such as radios phones and/or video monitoring as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
