Lula is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to provide deep analytical leadership across our product this role you will ensure complex business problems are translated into scalable high-quality product solutions while improving Lulas analytical standards documentation practices and product discovery capabilities. Working across multiple product squads you will also mentor Business Analysts to improve analytical quality and delivery impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Discovery & Analysis
- Partner with PMs/POs to understand strategic goals define success metrics and prioritise high-impact problems.
- Analyse current systems data and business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Build clear business cases and PRDs supported by data and stakeholder input.
- Translate business objectives into clear detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Maintain a centralised version-controlled repository of process maps and requirements documentation.
- Lead complex discovery initiatives across multiple teams
- Define analytical frameworks and discovery standards
- Support PMs with strategic opportunity sizing
- Mentor BAs in building business cases and PRDs
2. Stakeholder Alignment
- Act as a trusted liaison between Product Engineering Compliance Operations Finance CX Sales and Partnerships.
- Facilitate requirement workshops ensuring cross-functional alignment on scope and impact.
- Convey trade-offs and dependencies in clear outcomes-focused language.
- Continuously gather feedback and reflect it in product decisions.
- Represent Product in cross-functional initiatives
- Facilitate complex stakeholder negotiations
- Communicate analytical insights to leadership
3. Solution Design & Validation
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and engineers to co-create practical and valuable solutions.
- Participate in UAT planning validation and documentation.
- Ensure releases meet specified requirements and business objectives.
- Support post-release performance reviews to determine if expected outcomes are achieved.
- Ensure solutions scale across product areas
- Challenge solution designs to ensure business outcomes
4. Continuous Improvement
- Identify and document opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Maintain and update as-is and to-be process flows.
- Support the development of Lulas product documentation standards and knowledge base.
- Promote data-driven product decision-making through structured insights and impact tracking.
- Define BA documentation standards
- Improve product discovery practices
- Lead knowledge sharing
5. Analytical Leadership
- Mentor and coach Business Analysts
- Improve the BA competency within the Product team
- Establish templates frameworks and best practices
- Support hiring and onboarding of new BAs
- Review critical requirements before development begins
