Position: Storefront Aluminum Fabricator

Location: 2160 W 1700 S Salt Lake City UT 84104

Department: Manufacturing

Pay rate: $20.00/hour (Based on Experience/Education)

Schedule: 1st shift. Monday through Friday (Full-Time)

Summary:

Glaz-Tech is looking to fill the position of Storefront fabrication and assembly of aluminum products at our Salt Lake City UT facility. This position requires the use of hands-on tools for fabrication and ability to easily read measurements on drawings and hand tools. The Storefront Aluminum Fabricator works closely with the sales staff to ensure that timely delivery and quality product is delivered to meet the customers needs. Applicants must be self-driven and be accountable to meet daily production requirements.

Responsibilities may include (but not limited to):

Learning and using fabrication tools (saws punches etc) and production program to fabricate the stock length storefront aluminum to required sizes
Reading blueprints and specifications to accurately fabricate storefront metal
Managing inventory and stock items
Handling and preparing completed product for shipment
Maintain customer relations through visits and new product offerings
Tracking open orders and working closely with sales and shipping supervisors to ensure timely product delivery
Process improvement and procedure development to improve workflow

Required qualifications:

Minimum of H.S. diploma or equivalent
Experience with hand tools and measurements
Computer proficient
Ability to communicate in English
Authorized to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in construction or architecture related fields glass & glazing products
