CNC Lathe / Mill Machinist
Location: Eastlake Ohio
Industry: Aerospace Defense Precision Manufacturing
A growing precision machining and contract manufacturing company in Eastlake Ohio is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist to join their team. This position plays a key role in producing high-precision components for industries such as aerospace defense and motion control.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathe and milling machines to cut shape and form metal workpieces to specification
Review setup sheets blueprints and job specifications to determine machining sequence and setup requirements
Secure fixtures and workpieces using clamps bolts hand tools and measuring instruments
Install and assemble cutting tools and tool holders as required
Load machine programs and run pre-programmed CNC instructions
Monitor machine operation to detect tool wear malfunctions or inconsistencies
Adjust feeds speeds and tooling when necessary to maintain part quality
Measure parts using micrometers calipers gauges and dial indicators to ensure compliance with specifications
Notify supervisors of discrepancies or production issues
Assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts
Support team members and maintain a safe organized work environment
What Were Looking For
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience using precision inspection tools (micrometers calipers gauges etc.)
Understanding of CNC programming and G & M codes
Knowledge of CNC machining equipment and processes
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
