Finance Systems Analyst

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to join our team in London. This role is ideal for a technically minded accountant or a tech-savvy professional with strong accounting knowledge. You will act as the bridge between Finance and Technology ensuring our financial systems are optimized to support business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and maintain the finance ERP system (NetSuite)
• Collaborate with finance teams to understand requirements and translate them into system solutions
• Assist with system configuration reporting and troubleshooting
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial processes
• Participate in system upgrades and process improvement initiatives
• Provide user support and training for finance systems
• Work closely with IT and finance stakeholders to streamline workflows.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

• Time management & prioritization skills- things can get a little hectic so the ability to effectively manage yourself and your workload is critical
• Excellent communication skills (in English or/and other European languages) - you must be able to organize your thoughts in a way that others find clear and compelling. You will be expected to together well-written grammatically correct emails and other communications. When communicating verbally whether over the phone on video calls in person or meetings you will need to be articulate warm and engaging
• Flexibility- being an effective team player means being flexible in your approach and open to getting involved with new things even if they are not spelt out in your job description
• Intellectual Curiosity we are looking for someone who is truly interested in our profession and has the intellectual curiosity to delve deep into topics and bring fresh ideas to the team
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial processes (GL AP AR month-end close).
• Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with systems data and reporting tools
• Analytical Skills: Ability to identify issues analyze data and propose solutions
• Detail Oriented: Experience in gathering requirements and documentation.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years of experience of working in NetSuite
• CIMA ACA or ACCA qualification highly desirable
• The right to work in the UK.
