Location: Plymouth MN

Pay: $25.00 per hour paid weekly

Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm Fridays 6:00am-10:00am

Employment Type: Full time Trial to hire

About this Opportunity:
The Maintenance and Facilities Technician will oversee maintenance and repairs needs on shop floor equipment and facility needs.

What Youll Be Doing:

Creates and maintains a preventive maintenance program to ensure timely and proper maintenance requirements are performed on all equipment within the facility.

Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.

Oils lubricates changes filters or cleans other moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.

Adheres to maintenance budget; orders and installs replacement parts.

Maintains a record of damaged worn or broken parts with dates root cause for part replacement research to mitigate future issues seek new and improved and/or possibly less expensive parts as appropriate.

Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.

Coordinates with outside vendors and contractors to assist for specialty maintenance issues.

Facilities requirements may include general plumbing electrical and heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) basic carpentry and other building repairs.

May need to consult blueprints or building plans to identify best solution to resolve systems or equipment issues.

Follows OSHA requirements.

Cleans and assists with the upkeep of the facilities.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

High School Diploma

2 years working in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility.

Ability to understand schematics and blueprints.

Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.

Excellent skills in assessing mechanical issues and researching solutions.

Highly analytical and problem-solving skills.

Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
