Job Summary
We are looking for a Salesforce QA Tester with 34 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications through comprehensive testing strategies. The role requires close collaboration with developers business analysts and stakeholders to validate Salesforce functionality and integrations.
The candidate should be flexible to work and provide support for clients in the US and Pacific time zones when required.
Key Responsibilities
. Perform functional regression integration and system testing for Salesforce applications.
. Design develop and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements.
. Validate Salesforce features including Sales Cloud Service Cloud and custom Lightning components.
. Work closely with developers product owners and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
. Track and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or other defect management systems.
. Validate integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning standups and retrospectives.
. Ensure test coverage and maintain test documentation and reports.
. Support UAT testing and production validation activities.
. Provide testing support during release cycles and post-production deployments.
Required Skills
. 34 years of experience in QA/testing with at least 2 years in Salesforce testing.
. Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud / Service Cloud).
. Experience with test case design test execution and defect tracking.
. Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning UI testing.
. Experience with Agile development methodologies.
. Knowledge of API testing and integration testing.
. Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA TestRail or similar test management tools.
. Good understanding of SOQL and Salesforce data structures.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
. Experience with test automation tools (Selenium Provar or similar).
. Salesforce certification such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder.
. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
. Knowledge of Salesforce releases and best practices.
