Records and Registration Clerk
Terms of Employment: Full-Time
Classification: ESP
Hourly Wage: $16.25 per Hour
FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; some flexing of hours and schedule to include weekend and evening hours may be required as determined by the college to meet needs.

Apply online through the APPLY link listed below or at Summary: The Records and Registration Clerk works with both internal and external customers in the delivery and processing of registration and student record information. This position serves as a students initial contact with the records office and includes educating students on the registration process assisting students in registering for classes and handling in-person phone and email inquiries.

- Up to twenty-six (26) paid time off days annually (pro-rated based on hire date and months worked).

Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for maintaining/processing confidential student information under the provision of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Process forms including transcripts assessment scores enrollment verifications and other student-related forms.
- Computer software skills intermediate-level or above are required to utilize various computer software programs including Microsoft Office and Colleague student information system.
- Utilize a high level of problem-solving critical thinking and/or conflict resolution skills to resolve customer issues.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing a variety of registration and record related information and assist the office with the registration of applicants and current students. Serves as a front-line representative of the college and handles a high volume of in-person email and telephone contacts.
- Assist in the maintenance and purging of records in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Cross-trained in the areas of registration records financial aid and advising to effectively provide college services.
- May include night and weekend hours as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervised By: Assistant Registrar.
Education/Experience:
- Associate degree required.
- Two years full-time equated experience in related area preferred.
- Colleague experience preferred.
- Post-secondary work experience related to student services preferred.
- Software skills preferred.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Intermediate level microcomputer skills required in Microsoft Word.
- Intermediate level mathematics skills.
- Proficient level communication skills.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service to students faculty and staff required.
