Schedule: Weekend block from Friday through Monday Minimum Experience: 3 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS ARRT ARRT (R)(CT) General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Inpatient and Outpatient Work Settings; Follow provided Piedmont Protocols and Policy to Perform CT Scans on IP ER and OP Patients. Start IV s consent Pts and provide excellent Patient care. Maintain a positive and productive work environment with the current team of Technologist Nurses Doctors and Transporters. Ratio / Census: 4 Rooms with average caseload of 12-24 per day. Piedmont Henry is a Level 3 Trauma Hospital with 237 beds 59 treatment areas in the ED and a substantial level of Stroke Alerts. Unit Systems: Work on Siemens and Philips CT Scanners Epic Medical Records and Fuji PACs. Scrub Color: Gray RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed Call Requirements: 8 Days Total - will be given at least 2 weeks notice; unit will do their best to set up full call schedule within the first week of the assignment. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve/Christmas Day New Years Eve/New Years Day Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. CLINICAL SCREEN Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
