Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for performing general ultrasound and vascular procedures. This position requires on-call availability including weeknights and weekends. The technician will work independently managing a workload with an expected ratio of 8 patients per shift.

Location:Plainview Texas United States

Responsibilities:

- Perform general ultrasound procedures.
- Perform vascular ultrasound procedures.
- Respond to on-call requests during weeknights (5 PM - 8 AM Monday-Friday).
- Respond to on-call requests during weekends (24 hours Saturday & Sunday).
- Maintain equipment and supplies.
- Document patient information and test results.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Certification in Ultrasound Technology.
- Experience in general ultrasound.
- Experience in vascular ultrasound.
- BLS certification.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience in a Level IV Trauma Center.

Special Considerations:

- On-call duties are required including weeknights and weekends.

Scheduling:
- Weekends are required for on-call duties.
- Shifts are determined by the on-call schedule.
