Join us in the role of Senior Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) and play a key role in supporting the daily accounting operations of our local finance this position you will help ensure accurate financial processes strengthen operational controls and contribute to continuous improvements across the accounting cycle.

You will collaborate closely with our Regional Accounting Hub and local finance stakeholders helping coordinate accounting activities review key financial information and support the month-end closing process

About the Role

Coordinate day-to-day accounting activities with the Regional Accounting Hub ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal policies and local regulations.
Support and overseemonth-end closing activities ensuring timely and accurate financial postings and documentation.
Review and validate key accounting entries and reconciliations such asbank accounts AP AR taxes and intercompany transactions.
Prepare supporting documentation required forinternal reporting audits and regional finance requests.
Supervise the proper flow and validation of accounting documentation includinginvoices contracts and supporting documents.
Support treasury-related processes includinginvoice validation payment coordination and monitoring of tax-related payments.
Identify opportunities toimprove accounting processes controls and operational efficiency.
Contribute to the development ofstructured closing checklists and transaction tracking processes.
Participate in initiatives aimed at strengthening thefull accounting cycle and documentation controls.

About You

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
Around 4-5 years of experience in accounting financial control or audit roles.
Experience working in multinational companies technology environments transportation or marketplace business is a plus.
Experience working withERP systems (preferably Oracle).
Strong understanding of thefull accounting cycle and month-end closing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and astructured analytical mindset.
Proactive profile capable ofidentifying improvements and going beyond purely operational tasks.
Comfortable working withregional teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Professional working proficiency inEnglish.
