About the role
- The European Demand Forecast Super User is responsible for supporting the statistical forecasting processes and in particular generating analysis for it to be used operationally at key pinch points in the Integrated Business Planning Calendar / Cycle; Complete remit for driving continuous improvement in all reporting and data analysis arenas as well as providing data support for problem solving and Ad-Hoc business issues as and when they arise
- Job comes with the additional responsibility of providing back up in inventory and analytics team and support cross functional and technological work across the wider Regional Supply Chain Management Team
Duties
- Demand Forecasting Calendar is fully operational and will have analytical responsibilities to support that rhythm of work.
- Manage product segmentation to ensure SKUs are grouped to optimise model performance and accuracy as well as to enable consistent planning
- Change on Change reports and de-kitting volumes so we can effectively compare and commentate on evolution of our forecasts
- Prepare root/cause analysis reports identifying and proposing the required conclusions and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Continuous Improvement Team / Global Process Excellence to identify the gap on current process and methodologies for continuous improvement enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency.
- Driving a better understanding of KPI forecast accuracy and forecast bias metrics across demand team through analyst support and shared with business stakeholders. Root Cause Analysis / Continuous improvement

- Will acquire knowledge and insights and the business landscape of all markets in the European Regions and across all categories

Qualifications and Skills
Essential
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting technique and tools
- PowerBI / Power Query
- Experience and ability to thrive in a fast-moving consumer goods / healthcare environment would be an advantage
- Consumer / Customer first and business growth mind set
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and build cross-functional partnerships across the organization.
- Digital Literacy
- Flexibility to travel / visit European Markets
Preferred
- Proven experience in demand planning within the FMCG industry or a related field preferably in a multinational environment.
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
