Our team of experienced and compassionate psychiatrists physicians therapists nurses and support staff works with adults ages 18-64 through a multi-disciplinary approach to care. How youll contribute

  • The Director of Intake and Assessment ensure a comprehensive assessment to patients
    seeking treatment for psychiatric or substance abuse disorders.

  • This role oversees theassessment of all persons seeking services.

  • The Director completes initial assessment onpatients seeking treatment.

  • Supervises staff in responding to all inquiries for services via phonefax or walk-in.

  • Responds to all incoming inquiries within established timelines.

  • Makes andsupervises treatment recommendations based on clinical presentation and within established
    clinical criteria guidelines.

  • Reviews clinical presentation with admitting psychiatrist.

  • Documentscalls and sets appointments for callers seeking treatment.

  • Creates revises and implements theschedule of the assessment and referral office.

  • Interprets treatment to patient and family toensure understanding of treatment options.

  • Refers and triages patients to other sources oftreatment when appropriate.

  • Assesses coaches and develops team skills in assessmentpatient and family interaction and overall therapeutic care. Collects monitors and reportsservice performance data as required to hospital quality program.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Those functions that the individual who holds the position must be able to perform unaided or with the
    assistance of reasonable accommodation.

  • Assumes personal responsibility for obtaining and maintaining professional development
    and education.

  • Maintains or obtains relevant licensure as appropriate.

  • Utilizes management financial regulatory and clinical and systems knowledge to assess
    market needs and collaborates with Business Development Liaison and business
    development staff to ensure timely response to inquiries and referrals; gathers data from a
    variety of sources in systematic manner tracking trending and analyzing and synthesizing
    performance indicators.

  • Demonstrates leadership in planning and scheduling department in an efficient manner that
    supports timely assessment of referrals manages staff and promotes clinical demands.

  • Responds to community/market needs regulatory changes patient service needs and
    quality service demands.

  • Provides oversight of human and fiscal resource financial performance maintaining
    budgetary and safety guidelines.

  • Accepts participation in special projects other duties and appointments to
    hospital/local/regional committees as appropriate.

What were looking for

  • Bachelors Degree Required

  • Masters Degree Preferred

  • Arkansas RN License in good standing Required

  • BLS Certification within 30 days of hire

  • Independent Practice Scope Licensure

  • 2-5 years of leadership experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in the discipline
