DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:
The Part-Time Theatre Recruiting and Marketing Coordinator supports the Theatre Departments recruitment and outreach efforts. This role focuses on promoting the department through social media assisting with recruitment of prospective students and expanding community engagement opportunities for theatre students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain the Theatre Departments social media platforms including creating scheduling and posting content that highlights productions student achievements and departmental activities.
- Mentor and oversee students who assist with developing and creating social media content.
- Assist with recruitment efforts including supporting auditions interviews and communication with prospective students.
- Attend one or two theatre conferences each year.
- Identify and coordinate opportunities for theatre students to perform or engage with the local community.
- This position averages approximately10 hours per week. Some evening or weekend availability may be required during productions auditions or recruitment events.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in theatre performing arts arts administration or a related field preferred.
- Experience with social media management and digital marketing.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Availability to attend occasional evening or weekend events related to theatre productions or recruitment activities.
