The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a Contract Bed Coordinator (Program Project Specialist I) who performs advanced administrative and operational support in the coordination of specialized projects and program activities. This position is also responsible for managing sensitive processes with accuracy confidentiality and compliance with applicable policies laws and regulations within the Department of Corrections.

- Operates secure terminal systems such as the Arizona Criminal Justice System (ACJIS) and other authorized databases to collect verify and analyze data as it pertains to private facilities new hires contractors visitors and renewals
- Compiles information and presents findings to administration for decision-making
- Receives processes and disseminates fingerprint cards in accordance with established procedures and privacy regulations
- Researches and analyzes information and documentation in support of legal public information requests inmate claims complaints and drafts responses as needed
- Acts as liaison with the department State and county law enforcement entities to provide accurate information
- Develops and implements procedures for various Contract Beds programs such as Visitation Customer Service Compliance and Visitation Denial Appeal
- Identifies areas for process improvement
- Assists the Contract Beds Manager and Executive Assistant with tracking and analyzing the cost associated with services rendered by vendors to ensure accurate billing
- Develops and/or improves methods and procedures in data collection
- Prepares site audits
- Researches analyzes and compiles data identifies discrepancies drafts corrective action plan prepares report audit findings for management review and dissemination
- Provides office coverage maintains ACIS accounts attends meetings completes inventory as needed
- Drives on state business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
