We are looking for a Salesforce Associate Business Analyst with 2–3 years of experience to support the delivery of Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders functional consultants and technical teams to understand business requirements translate them into Salesforce solutions and support successful project delivery. The role requires a strong understanding of business analysis practices Salesforce platform
capabilities and CRM business processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and gather requirements for Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
Conduct workshops stakeholder interviews and requirement discovery sessions.
Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
Identify process gaps and propose improvements using Salesforce capabilities.
2. Documentation & Deliverables
Prepare and maintain project documentation including:
Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
Process Flow Diagrams
Use Cases
Data Mapping Documents
Solution Design Inputs
Ensure documentation is clear structured and aligned with project objectives.
3. Salesforce Solution Support
Work with Salesforce Functional Consultants and Solution Architects to define the solution
approach.
Support configuration discussions around:
- Objects
- Fields
- Page layouts
- Validation rules
- Workflow/Flow automation
- Reports and dashboards
Ensure requirements are feasible within Salesforce platform capabilities.
4. Process Mapping & Business Analysis
Analyze current (As-Is) business processes.
Define future (To-Be) processes aligned with Salesforce solutions.
Create process diagrams (BPMN / swimlane diagrams) using tools such as Lucidchart or Visio.
Recommend improvements to increase process efficiency and automation.
5. Agile Project Participation
Participate in Agile ceremonies including:
- Sprint planning
- Backlog grooming
- Daily standups
- Sprint reviews
Maintain and manage user stories in JIRA or similar tools.
Work with developers during sprint execution to clarify requirements.
6. Testing & Quality Assurance
Prepare test scenarios and test cases based on requirements.
Support System Testing and UAT activities.
Validate that implemented functionality meets business expectations.
Track and manage defects during testing cycles.
7. Stakeholder Communication
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Provide functional clarifications during development.
Assist in project status updates and stakeholder communication.
8. Training & Adoption Support
Assist in preparing training materials and user documentation.
Support user training sessions and adoption activities.
Provide guidance to business users on Salesforce features.
