Were looking for an Environment Health Safety & Sustainability (EHS) professional with a solid grounding in sustainability and a proactive approach to improving performance across the this role youll help maintain legal compliance while driving progress in our environmental performance ESG commitments and longterm sustainability goals. Youll play a key part in embedding responsible resourceefficient practices and supporting a positive forwardthinking safety and environmental culture throughout the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Environmental & Sustainability (ESG)
Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with regulations and ISO 14001.
Support delivery of sustainability and ESG objectives.
Collect and report data on energy waste water and carbon emissions.
Contribute to initiatives that reduce environmental impact and improve resource efficiency.
Maintain environmental records legal registers and required ESG reporting.
Promote sustainability awareness across the organisation.
Health Safety & Compliance
Support implementation and monitoring of HSE policies and management systems.
Conduct inspections audits and risk assessments ensuring actions are completed.
Assist with incident investigations and followup reporting.
Provide practical HSE guidance to staff and contractors.
Support HSE meetings safety engagement and compliance with ISO 45001/14001.
Assist with internal/external audits and regulatory reporting.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to enhance EHS and sustainability performance.
Stay informed on industry trends regulations and best practice.
Maintain professional development through training and relevant memberships.
Experience in an EHS sustainability or compliance role
Understanding of environmental or HSE regulations; ISO 14001/45001 experience is a bonus.
Ability to collect analyse and interpret data confidently.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with teams across the business
Proactive mindset with an interest in sustainability and continuous improvement.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Certificate IEMA Foundation/Certificate) or willingness to work towards them.
