Team Structure
The London partnership accounting and tax team currently comprises six roles and is headed by the Head of Tax & Partnership who reports to the Chief Finance Officer.
Main Responsibilities
The Partnership Accounting & Tax Assistant plays a key role in supporting the firms partners and wider finance function. This role works closely with the Partnership Accountant and Senior Partnership Accounting Manager on partner-related accounting and payment matters such as dealing with partner queries organising partner payments preparation of partner current account statements and administering the capital contribution process.
The individual will also work closely with the Global Tax Manager on tax compliance queries and ad hoc projects. This is a varied role involving regular contact with partners overseas finance colleagues and external advisers requiring strong attention to detail good communication skills and a proactive approach.

Attributes/Skills Required
- Ideally a part qualified accountant (ACA ACCA or equivalent) with several years experience in partnership accounting or tax.
- Experience within legal finance or professional services is preferable.
- Well organised and flexible with a positive proactive approach to work.
- Aderant or Elite experience is advantageous but is not essential.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- A team player with an inquisitive mind and strong can do attitude comfortable working with colleagues at all levels.
