Your Role

As Contract Manager for one of Saabs most advanced export programs the Gripen E/Fyou will take strategic ownership of the main contract for our next export country. Your mission is to lead the contract from early definition through development delivery and operational phases ensuring precision and performance at every step.

As Contract Manager for the Brazilian Gripen contract you will be a key part of an experienced team with a specific focus on Development. Your responsibilities will include ensuring contract fulfillment negotiating with customers and overseeing necessary contract updates. Collaborating closely with program managers and other contract managers you will support development projects and ensure all delivery requirements are met efficiently.

This role demands a combination of business acumen technical insight and the ability to manage both internal and external partnerships. International travel will be required as part of your responsibilities.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Strong negotiation skills and experience handling business discussions with both internal teams and customers.
• Proven ability to ensure timely cost-effective and high-quality contract deliveries.
• Experience working with the Gripen system is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Portuguese is a significant advantage.
• Deep understanding of Brazilian customs regulations and importation legislation.
• Knowledge of Saabs development and production processes.
• Experience in managing international business relationships.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Leadership experience or prior exposure to international business environments is a plus

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
