DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a IT & Asset Protection Specialist who will report directly to the Director of IT providing operational and administrative support in the areas of IT Loss Prevention and Procedures.
The candidate will work cross-functionally with hotel departments with a strong collaboration with the IT & Engineering Department focusing on procedure compliance reporting data entry access control and on-site inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Management and control of access keys (issuance tracking recording and verification of proper use);
- Physical security through monitoring risk prevention and incident management
- User access provisioning and certification ;
- Asset Management
- Manage and maintain security systems ensuring their efficiency and reliability;
- Ensure regulatory and technical compliance by verifying adherence to the required standards;
- Data entry and management of safety and security data and documentation;
- Verification of compliance with operational and safety procedures;
- Hotel inspections to ensure that environments equipment and materials are compliant;
- Support for risk prevention activities;
Report work related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor. Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel. Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g. evacuations medical emergencies natural disasters). Talk with and listen to other employees to effectively exchange information. Exchange information with other employees using electronic devices (e.g. pagers and two-way radios email). Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g. small print). Visually inspect tools equipment or machines (e.g. to identify defects). Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
