Job Summary
At Versent as a Program/Project Manager you will lead complex high value projects from initiation through delivery ensuring alignment with business strategy stakeholder expectations and organisational standards. This role requires strong leadership exceptional communication skills and deep expertise in project management methodologies.
Must be an Australian citizen with security clearance and currently residing in Australia.
Responsibilities
- Lead endtoend delivery of large complex or highrisk projects ensuring delivery on time within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Define project scope objectives deliverables and success criteria with key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans schedules budgets resource allocations and governance requirements.
- Provide clear and consistent communication to stakeholders sponsors and executive leaders.
- Facilitate decisionmaking issue resolution and alignment across crossfunctional teams.
- Mentor and support project team members to foster collaboration and high performance.
- Identify track and mitigate project risks issues and dependencies with timely escalation where required.
- Manage change requests assessing impacts and ensuring appropriate approvals and communication.
- Ensure compliance with organisational governance frameworks standards and regulatory obligations.
- Conduct postimplementation reviews capturing lessons learned and applying continuous improvement.
- Implement and promote project management best practices tools and methodologies.
- Drive efficiency innovation and improvement in delivery processes and project outcomes.
- Proven record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience and Qualifications
- 710 years experience delivering complex largescale projects in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage senior stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated success delivering technology transformation or businesschange initiatives.
- Strong financial management capability including budgeting forecasting and reporting.
- Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Hybrid).
- Excellent communication facilitation negotiation and presentation skills.
- High proficiency with project tools such as MS Project Jira or similar.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and strategic planning abilities.
- Tertiary qualification in Business Technology or a related discipline (preferred).
- Professional certifications such as PMP PRINCE2 Agile or Scrum Master (highly regarded).
