Description

The Summer STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Math) Girls Camp Coordinator isresponsible for planning facilitating and evaluating the organizations weeklong summer STEMcamp targeted for girls at the Appleton Menasha or Neenah Branch locations. The SummerSTEM Girls Camp Coordinator will ensure compliance and fidelity with the organizations STEM - related goals and objectives.

Essential Job Functions

Create an attractive and engaging weeklong STEM camp experience for girl Club members.
Connect youth to real world experiences including guest presenters college yours andemployment opportunities.
Record program attendance accurately for all camp programs and activities facilitated withClub members; including capturing photographs and impact stories.
Provide guidance and positive role modeling to Club members.
Monitor programs and activities to ensure the safety of Club members.
Collaborate with internal teams and departments to align goals and strategies and to fostera culture of cooperation and teamwork.
Engage in continuous learning and contribute to the effective implementation ofcontinuous improvement processes.
Support the ethical use of data to make decisions in a timely and informed manner.
Represent the organization to the community in a way that enhances the organizationsprofile builds its reputation supports its strategic priorities and advances its mission.
Contribute to operational goals and objectives that align with and advance theorganizations strategic priorities.
Strive to meet and surpass the expectations of youth families staff volunteers Boardfunders and other key stakeholders.
Focus efforts on promoting equity engaging in trauma-informed and continuousimprovement practices and doing what is needed to help the communities theorganization serves become great places for all children and youth to grow and thrive.
Ensure current safety practices meet or exceed organizational requirements.
Support the implementation of new or amended policies practices and processes thatfurther mitigate and minimize safety risks.
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence aligning your efforts with the organizationsvalues mission strategic priorities and policies.
Participate in available coaching opportunities regular one-on-one meetings withsupervisor performance evaluations and goal setting.
Demonstrate a commitment to learning and development by following talent developmentrequirements and creating and following a professional development plan.

Qualifications
The Summer STEM Girls Camp Coordinator requires a majority combination of the following:

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in STEM related field or Education preferred.
Demonstrated record of youth development knowledge behavior management techniquesclassroom management techniques and ability to inspire and motivate youth to attendSTEM & Workforce Readiness programs and opportunities.

Skills and Requirements

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey information in a timely openand clear manner.
Reliable transportation.
Knowledge of and ability to effectively use computers software and other technologytools.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
