Job Summary
Lake Monticello Pool is seeking responsible and energetic Seasonal Lifeguards to ensure a safe enjoyable experience for residents and guests throughout the summer season. This position is Seasonal (Late SpringSummer).
Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all patrons.
Enforce pool rules and safety regulations consistently and professionally.
Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations.
Perform water rescues first aid and CPR/AED as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck and surrounding areas.
Conduct routine safety checks of equipment and facilities.
Provide courteous and helpful interaction with members and guests.
- Minimum age: 16 years old (or per certification requirements).
- Current Lifeguard Certification required (American Red Cross or equivalent).
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.
- Strong swimming ability and alertness.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in emergency situations.
- Reliable punctual and team oriented.
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand walk and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in summer weather conditions.
