Job Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for all business and financial operations of the school district in alignment with the districts strategic plan and related initiatives. The Chief Financial Officer ensures that all financial decisions and operations support the districts educational mission and are conducted with integrity efficiency and transparency. Responsibilities include leading the preparation control and reporting of the annual general fund and capital budgets as well as future year operating and capital budget projections. The CFO is responsible for the management of financial services facilities transportation purchasing and payroll.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business administration or other related field required
- Masters degree in Business Administration preferred
- 3-5 Years Experience in business administration and in a public- school district
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite Software and financial accounting software
- Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups
