Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking anIntermediate Epidemiologistto support disease surveillance public health investigations and data analysis. This role focuses on monitoring health trends identifying outbreaks and providing data-driven insights to support public health programs and policy decisions.
Work Arrangement
Primary Work Location:Remote (5 days/week)
Office Visits:12 times per month as needed
Travel:Occasional travel for meetings or county visits
Mileage Reimbursement:Provided for approved travel
Key Responsibilities
Conductepidemiologic surveillanceto monitor diseases injuries and health conditions
Investigatedisease outbreaks and public health events
Collect manage and analyzepublic health datafrom multiple sources
Performstatistical analysisand identify health trends and patterns
Developreports summaries and data visualizations(charts graphs maps)
Supportpublic health programswith evidence-based recommendations
Maintainpublic health databasesand ensure data quality and accuracy
Collaborate withhealth organizations committees and multidisciplinary teams
Provideepidemiologic expertiseto support public health decisions
Required Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge ofepidemiologic methods and statistical analysis
Experience withdata analysis tools and database management
Ability tointerpret complex datasets and communicate findings
Stronganalytical communication and critical-thinking skills
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degreein Public Health or a related science field up to 2 years of data analysis experience
OR
Masters Degree (MPH)or related science field(Preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience withepidemiologic investigations and surveillance systems
Background instatistical analysis and epidemiologic modeling
Experience withpublic health databases and data visualization tools
Experience presentingdata insights and reports
