Job Responsibilities
Serves as shift-level operational leadership on the watchfloor to maintain continuity quality and timely decision-making. Ensures proper triage escalation and coordination during incidents and surge conditions. Maintains discipline in shift handoffs reporting and operational communications. Acts as the control point for the watch team to keep operations stable.
- Lead shift operations (triage assignment escalation shift handoff quality).
- Enforce incident handling standards and ensure timely escalation.
- Coordinate with SOC Team Lead and other teams during high-priority events.
- Validate shift reporting inputs and maintain watchfloor documentation discipline.
- Ensure operational readiness (coverage procedures adherence to runbooks).
- Support continuous monitoring posture and response coordination
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree is required.
- 3 years supervisory experience.
- Substantial security experience.
- Any 1 of: CASP CCSP SSCP GMON GCIH GCIA GECD AND required cert(s) from the specified DoD 8570 CSSP track list.
- 6 years equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of one certification.
- Active Secret clearance may be required.
- Strong communication skills when collaborating with co-workers and willing to be on-site will be requirements.
