Job Summary
Job Title: Med Surg RN - Night Shift
Location: Fairfield IA
Start Date: 05/08/2026
Shift: 12-hour nights 36 hrs/week (6:00 pm - 6:30 am)
Weekly Pay: $2326
Job Description:
Med Surg RN needed to provide total patient care using the nursing process to assess plan implement and evaluate patient needs. The role includes guiding patient teaching and directing ancillary staff while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe high-quality patient care across med-surg units.

Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care needs.

Provide patient education and guidance to ancillary personnel.

Participate in mandatory immunizations screenings and hospital compliance programs.

Maintain accurate documentation in patient records.

Follow infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications:

Current Iowa RN license.
-
BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Nursing experience preferred but not required.

Compliance with hospital employment and health requirements including immunizations drug screen background checks and mandatory reporter certifications.
