We are seeking an energetic and experienced Associate Director to join our Water Team within the AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure business. You will be part of a talented multidisciplinary team delivering cuttingedge and iconic projects for key water sector clients including Uisce Éireann Design & Build contractors and UK water companies.

As a senior member of our team you will play a pivotal role in delivering transformational programmes for critical Irish infrastructure with opportunities to contribute to landmark projects both domestically and internationally. We are committed to delivering industryleading solutions across the full project lifecycle adding value through technical excellence clientside advisory roles and constructionphase support.

Your role

As an Associate Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical and people leadership to a team of Water Engineers delivering complex multidisciplinary projects in accordance with national and projectspecific design standards.
  • Working closely with Project Managers to manage programme budgets and delivery against key milestones.
  • Taking responsibility for the production review and approval of highquality technical deliverables including reports drawings calculations and scopes of work.
  • Acting as a senior technical leader within the discipline across UK & Ireland influencing best practice innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Growing developing and managing Water Engineering capability within the Irish business.
  • Exercising sound professional judgement in complex situations and providing mentorship and guidance to junior and developing engineers.
  • Advising clients and project teams on technical operational and strategic matters.
  • Leading or contributing to the technical aspects of bids and proposals.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across UK Ireland and overseas to deliver integrated and sustainable design solutions.
