About the Team:
The Revenue Operations team at AlphaSense drives productivity and improves efficiency for our account executives account managers and sales development reps. We create and implement operational reporting & analytics improve processes and enable strategic initiatives that impact the revenue organization. At our core we are a dynamic team of highly driven self-starters who are passionate about operations and thrive in a fast paced challenging environment.
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented strategic and collaborative Deal Desk Analyst to support our sales teams in day to day execution of key deals. This role will serve as a partner to Account Executives and Account Managers; working with them to build quotes execute contracts and review redlines. The ideal candidate has experience working in a deal desk role for a SAAS company.
What Youll Do:
- Deal Structuring & Review
- Help maintain team SLAs for timely changes
- Assist sales teams in designing quotes and contracts including product bundling and multi-year ramp deals.
- Serve as the primary gatekeeper for non-standard terms ensuring all necessary stakeholders (legal accounting finance) sign off on exceptions.
- Support policy and compliance by enforcing guardrails regarding discounting levels revenue recognition standards and legal liability.
- Work with sales enablement to train sales representatives on how to use Salesforce CPQ and Ironclad.
- Process Optimization: Identify friction points in the sales cycle and implement automation or workflow improvements to increase deal velocity.
Who You Are:
- 2 years of experience in deal desk or contract management in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Understanding of B2B commercial contracts and deal structures.
- Experience working with CRM (Salesforce) CPQ tools and contract management systems (e.g. Ironclad DocuSign CLM).
- Excellent negotiation analytical and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to pushback in challenging situations
