Job Summary
RSDs: 27 days with possibility of further being issued. Provide Medical Support to Regimental Drill Nights Weekends and Exercises.
1. Works under direct (CMT 2) or indirect (CMT 1) supervision to provide assistance to medical officers in field units and medical reception stations.
2. Provide advanced first aid and use advanced resuscitation techniques inc the administration of non-controlled drugs ordered by a Med officer.
3. Provide medical support on operations and exercises inclusive of Med Evac in hostile conditions.
4. Carry out care whilst initiating and maintaining casualty and equipment/supply documentation
5. Basic diagnostics recognising abnormalities in casualty observations body appearances and consciousness level and reporting findings
6. Trained in Army environmental health issues at unit level.
7. Provide medical training to the Army.
8. Establishing field medical facilities and maintain and supervise the maintenance of medical equipment
