Commodity Manager-I
Job Summary
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage Off the Shelf electronics parts for Bloom Energy Electronic commodity which includes:
- Price management
- Capacity and supply management
- Strengthening the business relationship
- Working with Supplier and Engineering to mitigate the single source risk
- Engineering change management
- Creating DASH boards
- Develop commodity strategies to align with Bloom Energys growth roadmap.
- Own sourcing strategy and supplier relationship management function
- Perform market analysis and forecast industry trends.
- Define cost structures and develop should cost models.
- Support product development roadmap incorporating design change and implementation to current and future product lines.
- Collaborate with Cross Functional team to assess understand and prioritize business needs.
Skills and Experience:
- 5 years experience BE Electronics / Electrical
- Technical knowledge on EMS process like PCBA Box build etc. is an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data.
- Confident in working in a high-pace dynamic environment handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure task completion and deadlines are met.
- Ability to multitask and effectively communicate progress and risks.
- A quick learner and team player exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel Word Power point and ERP
- Good communications Skills
