Position Summary

Responsible for analysis and transformation of complex engineering production and supply chain data into actionable information that supports strategic decision-making identifies trends and opportunities reinforces operational efficiency through real-time performance monitoring and aligns work teams around shared data. Responsible for applying advanced information technology (including data warehousing interactive modeling ML LLM generative AI) to design build and maintenance of data visualizations (e.g. Tableau) dashboards (e.g. Power BI) and other means of communicating new and on-going business intelligence.

Position Responsibilities

  • Applies business acumen and technical expertise to develop and deliver cutting-edge business intelligence solutions appropriate to the needs of various business information consumers.
  • Collaborates closely with operations teams to identify key productivity drivers and metrics they rely upon to track daily operations. Leveraging a diverse set of tools and skills develops real-time dashboards reports visualizations etc. to help leaders focus attention on the most important activities and to encourage greater immediacy of feedback to team members about their performance.
  • Delivers regular reports on performance including monthly KPIs quarterly performance reviews and other strategic reports. Presents data insights to senior leadership and provide recommendations for business improvements.
  • Performs exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling using Python (pandas scikit-learn etc.). Contributes to the development of models that drive insights across domains such as Engineering Quality and Manufacturing.
  • Assists in maintaining data dictionaries and documentation for transparency and knowledge sharing. Maintains data security and confidentiality across all platforms.

Requirements:


Education

B.S. in Information Technology Computer Science Data Science or related field.

Experience

Satisfactory completion of an Airbus U.S. internship or one year of direct experience with business intelligence data analytics in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Systems Proficiency

  • Proficiency in Python (pandas NumPy matplotlib/seaborn).
  • Experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools such as Tableau).
  • Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases.
  • Experience with data modeling techniques and LLMs
  • Strong statistical foundation

Knowledge Skills Demonstrated Capabilities

  • Ability to communicate analytical results clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Key Project Management skills:
    • Strong networking and relations building skills.
    • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
    • Excellent U.S. English Written and Oral communication skills

Citizenship

  • Must be U.S. Person under ITAR regulations

Travel Required

  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time

Physical Capability

  • Onsite: 90%
  • Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens able to read documents.
  • Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds including safety warnings or alarms.
  • Equipment Operation (personal computer telephone copies fax machine and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment.
  • Carrying: able to carry documents electronic equipment and/or supplies up to 25lbs.
  • Lifting: able to lift documents electronic equipment and/or supplies up to 25lbs.
  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings working on computer.
  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.
  • Standing: able to stand for long periods of time.
