Job Description
As a Security Guard - Medical Clinicin New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy healthcare location. You will conduct routine rounds stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents assist with access control and visitor guidance and communicate clearly with staff and patients. You will document observations respond to calls for assistance and contribute to a caring people-first culture built on integrity teamwork and innovative reliable service.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Control access points by monitoring entrances verifying authorization as required and directing visitors to appropriate check-in and waiting areas according to site procedures.
- Complete detailed reports of incidents observations patrol activities and policy violations and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and/or handoffs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
- Be 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
