About the Role:
In this role youll manage full-cycle recruitingfrom sourcing and screening to extending offers and onboarding. Youll partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies craft compelling job advertisements and identify top talent across the state. This position also emphasizes community outreach including attending career fairs building relationships with schools and organizations and representing DHHS at events.

Youll succeed here if youre a strong communicator detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full life cycle recruitment for a variety of DHHS positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop job postings screening tools and interview questions.
• Creatively source candidates using multiple channels while ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
• Research and recommend innovative advertising platforms and recruitment strategies.
• Review applications conduct interviews and extend offers of employment.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines to meet current and future workforce needs.
• Engage with high schools colleges and professional organizations to promote DHHS as an employer of choice.
• Lead or support special recruitment projects and outreach initiatives.
• Stay informed of industry trends and continuously improve recruiting practices.
• Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and the broader Talent Acquisition team.

Work Schedule & Flexibility

• Typical schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling options available after initial training period
• May include occasional travel to career fairs community events or training sessions

Other: Position located in Beatrice NE.

Work Environment & Expectations

This position is onsite at a DHHS office where youll engage with applicants hiring managers and leaders to showcase DHHSs opportunities and culture. Youll receive ongoing training peer support and opportunities to collaborate and grow within a dedicated and mission-driven HR team.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Two years of coursework or training in personnel management business administration public administration or office/administrative or three years of related experience.
