Maintenance Assistant
Arlington Residence and Rehabilitation Center Arlington TX
Job Type: Part-Time (24hrs per week)
Schedule: Day Shift (some on-call availability may be required)
Job Summary
Arlington Residence and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependableMaintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe clean and comfortable environment for our residents staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general building maintenance and strong skills in painting and drywall repair.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility
Complete drywall repairs patching and painting projects as needed
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks
Repair basic plumbing electrical fixtures and facility equipment when needed
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
Ensure building safety standards are maintained
Assist with room turnovers and general facility upkeep
Work with the maintenance team to keep the facility in good working condition
Requirements
Experience in facility or building maintenance strongly preferred
Painting and drywall repair skills required
Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical and general repair work
Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Reliable punctual and able to work independently
Long-term care or healthcare facility experience is a plus
