Overview
You will oversee multiple client accounts acting as a trusted partner while coordinating internal teams to deliver high-quality medical communications programmes. You will ensure projects run smoothly budgets are managed effectively and new opportunities are identified to expand client relationships.
Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
Lead the planning and delivery of medical communications programmes.
Ensure clear project roles timelines and responsibilities across teams.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and act as their primary contact.
Provide regular project updates and strategic recommendations.
Attend client meetings workshops and conferences where required.
Project Delivery
Oversee programme tactics and ensure all deliverables meet strategic objectives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outputs on time.
Ensure programmes reflect client strategy and evolving external environment.
Financial Management
Manage programme budgets and financial agreements with clients.
Track account financial performance and report to senior leadership.
Ensure invoices and project reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
Business Development
Identify opportunities to expand existing client accounts.
Support proposal development and pitch preparation.
Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities across client organisations.
Team Leadership
Line manage junior team members up to Account Manager level.
Conduct performance reviews and support career development.
Foster a collaborative high-performing team culture.
What Were Looking For
At least 3 years experience in a medical education or medical communications agency.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Excellent client communication and relationship management abilities.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Understanding of commercial drivers within agency environments.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
