Fitzroy Veterinary Hospital are currently searching for the next enthusiasticpassionateand dedicatedCatterymemberto join ourTeam.
Our newly renovated Cattery offers the best in boarding care and are looking for a team member to work independently within the role to deliver the best care for our boarding clients. Weare compassionate and enthusiastic and always strive to give our feline friends the most comfortable stay are looking for someone with those same passions for customer service and cat care to excel within this role.
Duties and responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities:
- Health checks and general animal husbandry
- Providingof food and water for cats in our care
- Establishing relationships with pet owners to individualise care and meetthespecific needs of thatanimal
- Complying with our Council standards of care
- Administering medication to cats in our care
- Managing bookings and appointments via email and phone in an organised matter
- Daily admin duties such asupdating animalrecords socialmediaand invoicing.
- Providing adequate enrichment and play for cats during theirstay
Key Requirements:
- Must have a strong work ethic as the role does require a lot of attention todetail
- Must work wellwithina teamenvironment
- Must be able to follow cattery protocol andprocedures
- Previous experience in an animal husbandry role
- Strong organisational skills to complete all takesrequired throughout theshift
- Availability between Monday-Friday and occasional weekend work/public holidays
- Basic computer knowledge (outlook email word and excel)
Position:
- Availability to be flexible with shifts whenrequired
- Weekend work public holidays and split shifts required
- Salary will be based on relevant qualifications and position and can be discussed during the interviewprocess
