Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Rover Driver in Lithia Springs GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an unarmed driving Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine vehicle and foot rounds and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations respond to calls for service and support team members drivers and visitors with professional customer service. This role reflects our agile reliable innovative people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff drivers and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with incident documentation and notifications per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas yard space parking areas and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
- Monitor and control access at entrances gates and shipping and receiving areas verifying identification and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete routine reports and logs including patrol activity access activity and unusual conditions and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years of security-related experience.
- Be 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
