The Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering projects that achieve defined business objectives within agreed scope time cost and quality parameters. The role is delivery-focused operating within established governance and control frameworks. This role will report to the VP of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO).
Responsibilities:
- Lead project governance (such as creating roadmaps detailed planning monitoring and transparency for key milestones) develop and maintain comprehensive project materials (such as reporting presentations requirements maps success criteria)
- Plan execute and close projects in line with PMO standards
- Manage project scope schedule risks issues and dependencies manage scope creep and change management
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and with other project teams to identify cross-dependencies and resolve roadblocks; results-oriented and ability to think strategically
- Ensure compliance with financial governance and SOX controls
- Support transition of deliverables into business-as-usual
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Project Management experience
- PMI certification (PMP or equivalent) required.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with experience leading multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner.
- Self-starter with ability to build a strong rapport with resources across multiple functional areas.
- Proficiency with JIRA and formal project management methodologies
Skills:
- Experience delivering projects in a structured environment
- Strong organization communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Experience in insurance or regulated financial services
- Experience in project management tools methodologies and best practices
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinking and analytical approach to solving problems
Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is $105000 - $115000 on a full-time schedule.
- Along with base salary Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
- We want all employees to be invested in Trupanions success so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
