Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to support the Master Data team is terms of reporting and ensures smooth execution by master data activities providing all support to the team and promoting effective stakeholder engagement

KEY OUTPUTS

  • Execute Master Data creations and changes for vendors customers and bank master
  • Provide first line support on operational processes and applications.
  • Identify and correct minor issues with the processes or tools in a timely and collaborative manner
  • Manage and prioritizes tasks vital to complete changes within established SLAs. 
  • Provides suggestions to continuously improve master data management processes and standard methodologies to support evolving business requirements
  • Ensure vendor data complies with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Provide support to Supply Chain Cash Management and accounts payable teams regarding vendor information queries
  • Adhere to process and controls associated with bank verifications and call confirmation at the time of approval  
  • Apply extensive scrutiny over documentation and raise even the slightest concern to the team and the supervisor
  • Able to perform effective root cause analysis and contribute to improving controls and process effectiveness
  • Participates in the design testing and implementation of new processes and improvements to the systems that impacts master data
  • Collaboration within the wider Accounting Services and Supply chain to build capacity and relations

Qualifications :

  • A relevant 3 year tertiary qualification
  • SAP training (FI) advantageous

EXPERIENCE

  • 1 2 years relevant experience
  • SP MDM and Ariba
  • Advanced Excel
