Position Details
Position Title: Senior Consultant ESSBASE
Location: Bangalore / Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
Experience Required : 5 Years
Business Skills
General understanding of budgeting and reporting processes
Solid knowledge of cost allocation mechanisms
Ability to navigate data models using Ad Hoc analyses in Smart View to identify likely causes of discrepancies
Able to support the client during the budgeting phase and in management reporting
ESSBASE Application Skills
Creation of an application/cube in ESSBASE
Design creation and management of the data model: outline repository administration via the web interface and cube designer in Smart View
Dimension building using rules
Data loading using rules in ESSBASE
Management of substitution variables and prompts
Creation of simple calculation scripts: aggregation data clearing scenario initialization data copying between scenarios member formulas
Creation of complex calculation scripts: specific business needs cost allocation rules
Security management in ESSBASE
Soft Skills (if possible)
Able to lead or contribute to training sessions for financial stakeholders on ESSBASE 21C and other solutions within the application landscape
