- Currently enrolled as a student at Ithaca College

- Courteous and engaging personality
- Able to present information concisely
- Able to follow directions and accurately record data/details
- Experience with Microsoft OfficeExcel Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with social media: Facebook Instagram LinkedInetc.
This person supports the Division of Advancement by assisting the Engagement team with daily operations alumni communications data processing and event preparation. As an ambassador you would help strengthen relationships between Ithaca College and its alumni community while promoting student awareness of alumni engagement and institutional advancement.
You would work collaboratively with Advancement staff and report directly to the Engagement Operations Associate receiving project-based assignments across the division.
- Answering themain phone line transferring calls and takingmessages
- Respond to the alumni email account
- Providegeneral information toalumni
- Processingdata in our database (training provided)
- Coding events and creating nametags
- Gathering supplies for events
- Other general office duties as assigned
- Office hours are Monday Friday 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
Knowledge of Ithaca College
Better understanding of Philanthropy& Engagement
Develop transferable skills:
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Beginning at minimum pay range ($16 per hour)
