Delivery Sales Service Representative

Gordon Food Service is looking for a dedicated professional driver to join our team. As the face of GFS you are more than just a driveryou are a brand ambassador who ensures our customers receive their products safely accurately and with a smile.

Essential Functions

Customer Excellence: Build and maintain strong relationships while serving as a professional point of contact for all customer issues and concerns.
Safe Operations: Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and operate tractor-trailers and refrigerated vans in a safe professional manner.
Logistics & Maintenance: Monitor reefer temperatures report mechanical issues immediately and complete daily check-ins with zero errors.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales representatives and management to communicate feedback and attend department meetings to share ideas with peers.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Compliance: Strict adherence to all safety/compliance regulations and procedures.
Communication: Ability to read write and speak effectively in English to handle paperwork (registers credits pick-ups) and customer interactions.
Professionalism: Must maintain a professional appearance in the GFS uniform. Punctuality problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude are essential.
Physical Requirements: Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (lifting pushing pulling product).
