As a CaRE (Curriculum & Re-Engagement) School werefocussed on working with students at their point of need. Throughon-entry assessments consultation and collaborative approaches weformulate strong Individual Education Plans providing classroomsupport to work towards future goals via a combination of includes Literacy Numeracy Direct Instruction STEAM(focussing on a range of WA Curriculum subjects) and social &emotional development sessions.

Our main focus is to assist students to re-engage with educationin a way that makes sense to them dismantling the barriers andcreating a chance for them to flourish.

What youll be doing

Reporting directly to the Deputy Principal youll be atthe heart of our schools operations managingreception keeping admin running smoothly and helping everythingcome together for our big launch! Youll be part of a dynamicteam and play a key role in shaping the new campus from the groundup.

The role involves providing administrative support andassistance to the Deputy Principal maintaining accurate studentfiles and office records and assisting with data collection andWH&S tasks. It also includes general reception duties such asanswering enquiries and scheduling meetings as well as generalaccounting and reporting responsibilities.

Youll be great in this role ifyou

  • Have experience in a similar administrative role ideally within a school environment
  • Hold a Certificate III or higher in Business Office Administration or Bachelors degree in Commerce/Business/Finance (desirable)
  • Have ability to work independently and proactively supporting young people and their families
  • Are known for your strong administration and basic finance skills
  • Have intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
  • Have highly developed interpersonal customer service and written communication skills
  • Understand WA and Federal Student Census processes and/or the youth sector (desirable/not essential)
  • Have familiarity with Student Management Systems i.e. Edumate (desirable/not essential)
  • Can obtain a National Police Clearance and WA Working with Children Check Card
